Nancy Lehrkind is a real estate broker with 30 years of experience specializing in residential properties in the East Bay areas of Piedmont, Oakland and Berkeley. Her new clients are mainly referrals from past and continuing clients. Nancy exemplifies the professionalism that today’s educated buyers demand for their real property transactions. She has a B.A. in English, 2 years of graduate business school and a law degree. After practicing law for 7 years, Nancy switched to real estate brokerage.
Extremely knowledgeable about, and interested in, the many phases of construction and remodeling, she will remain lively and enthusiastic over the most minute details of house investigation. Nancy, indeed, has a burning desire to understand everything and a passion for research. Both buyers and sellers appreciate her tenacity and thoroughness.
On the rare occasions when she tears herself away from clients, Nancy enjoys volunteering for a plethora of non-profits, including the Piedmont Center for the Arts (which she founded), Piedmont’s CIP Commission and St. John’s Episcopal Church. She was the Vice Chair of Piedmont’s Park Commission. In addition, she enjoys singing, swimming, tennis, bridge, skiing and reading. She and her husband live in Piedmont with their 3 children, all of whom have attended Piedmont schools.
“I am committed to my clients and their success and I take a very long-term view of my work and professional relationships.”
