Fred Burks has over 28 years of experience and over $170,000,000 in real estate sales to his credit, from Washington, DC where he resides part of the time, to the Virginia countryside outside of Lexington, Virginia, where he owns an 1860 manor house and 2 farms.
Fred owned and ran his very own successful residential real estate firm, Washington Homes Limited, from 1984 to 1990, and over the years has been a director of the Washington DC Association of Realtors and Chairman of it's Professional Standards Committee.
Fred graduated from VMI with a degree in civil engineering, served in the military and served as a board member of a Hospice and SPCA.
He is married to Barbara Clymer Burks and their hobbies include travel, skiing and equestrian activities. In addition, Fred is an avid fox hunter with the Rockbridge Hunt in Rockbridge County, Virginia and The Bull Run and Rappahannock Hunts in northern Virginia.
